It's Official: Friday Night is a Great Night for Comics

You've been waiting, you've been asking and now we can confirm that All Star Comics will officially launch Friday the 4th of February from 5pm-8pm.

That's right, we are going to have a special night time launch so if you're getting off work or want to make a special trip in, you can be amongst the first to see the store in its finished form. Please don't show up before 5pm as we will be putting the finishing touches on the store during the day. Mitch and Troy will also both be on the floor for the three hours enlisting some helpers to handle counter work so you will be able to shake their hand and ask them any questions. Important: If you show up after 7pm the front door will be locked, please don't panic, just ring the buzzer (it is the bottom one) and someone will be down to let you in and up the elevator.

Barring any delay beyond our control, we will also have this weeks new comics on the shelf as you would expect as well as our wide range of issues from January and trade paperbacks which cater to all interests. Forms for anyone that wishes to sign up for an All Star Comics Standing Order will also be available on the night.

Speaking of our Standing Order Service, do you like that poster above designed by our friend Tim Hobday? Well if you're one of our first 50 people to start a standing order you will receive one of those posters absolutely free. For those of you that don't wish to start up a standing order but would still like one of our launch posters, we will be selling a limited amount of them soon. Please Note: Posters may not be available on the night.

As exciting as our launch will be, we realise that not all of you will be able to make it in or even stay too long in the store. but don't worry, we will be open 7 days a week from Saturday with the following operating hours:

Monday: 10am - 6pm
Tuesday: 12pm - 6pm
Wednesday: 10am - 6pm
Thursday & Friday: 10am - 7pm
Saturday & Sunday: 11am - 5pm

So get ready everyone, we've been working non stop for a month and we can't wait to reveal to you all Melbourne's newest comic book store.
